Configuring Your Gateway
The bottom right side of the screen contains three buttons:
y Help displays online help.
y Apply click this button to save your configuration changes to the displayed page.
y Cancel click this button to discard any configuration changes made to the current page.
Web Management Interface Menus
Table 3 describes the menus in the Web management interface.

Settings Lets you configure and manage password settings and set the system timeout. 31
Wireless Lets you configure the wireless, encryption, MAC filtering, and advanced wireless settings. 35
NAT Lets you co nfigure predefined and custom port forwarding settings to allow Internet users to
access local services such as the Web Server or FTP server at your local site. 43
Firewall Lets you configure firewall settings to limit the risk of hacker attack. Submenus let you configure
a specific client/server as a demilitarized zone (DMZ) that is exempt from the firewall limitations
and protection.

Tools Lets you reboot the Gateway. 59
Status Shows the connection status of your Gateway. This is the same screen that appears when you
log in to the Gateway. 60
