#7600053 TWIN BAG CATCHER FRAME STIFFENER KIT FOR SNAPPER / SIMPLICITY RZT & JAVELIN TWIN BAG CATCHERS

The Twin Bag Catcher Frame Stiffener Kit is designed to provide extra support to the catcher frame.

DO NOT attempt any adjustments, maintenance, repairs, or service with engine running. Stop engine. Engage parking brake. Remove key. Remove spark plug wire and secure wire away from spark plug. Engine, muffler and surrounding areas are extremely hot. Avoid serious burns; allow components to cool down before installing kit. Replace worn or damaged parts prior to operating. Use approved fuel container. DO NOT smoke near open fuel container. DO NOT fill fuel tank indoors or when engine is running. Allow engine to cool for at least ten minutes before refilling. Make sure that fuel cap is tightened securely. Wipe off any spilled fuel before starting engine.

STEP 1: Remove the debris containers from the catcher frame. Refer to the twin bag catcher instructions.

STEP 2: Remove the upper discharge tube from the hole in the right front of the cover assembly. Refer to the twin bag catcher instructions.

STEP 3: Remove the bridge pin and clevis pin from the hinge on the cover assembly, and remove the cover assembly from the catcher frame. Refer to the twin bag catcher instructions.

STEP 4: Remove the hardware securing the U-tube (A, Figure 1) to the channel assembly (B). Do not remove the center support tube (not shown) from the channel assembly.

STEP 5: Reinstall the U-tube with the supplied stiffener bracket (E) onto the channel assembly, securing with three of the supplied carriage bolts (C) and flange nuts (D). Do not tighten the hardware yet.
