2.3 Weighing

Stand on the scale. The weight appears automatically after the scale is loaded.

2.4 Taring

Through pressing the function key on the back of the display the scale can be tared out. Place towels or other coatings on the scale and press the ON/TARA button. The display goes back to »0.0 kg« and the scale is ready for use. The taring can be done over the entire weight range.

2.5 Height rod with BMI-display

Fold up and slide up the height rod carefully. Then place the head stopper on the head of the patient. After stabilisation of the weight, the values of the patient - weight, height and BMI are shown rotational.

2.6 Weighing small children

An adult steps on the scale.

>The display shows »57.6 kg« for example Press the ON/TARA button.

>The display changes to »0.0 kg«

The adult steps off the scale … > The display shows »–57.6 kg«

… then steps on the scale again holding the child.

> The display now indicates the child’s weight, for example »5.1 kg«

2.7 Switching off / End the operation safely

Display with mains operation: The scale automatically switches off, when the display has remained at »0.0 kg« for about 60 seconds. To switch off the display unit completely, disconnect the plug from the power socket. By pulling out the plug from the power socket, the device is all-pole disconnected in all from the power supply. So the operation is safely completed.

Display with rechargeable battery operation: The scale switches off automatically, when the display has remained at »0.0 kg« for about 60 seconds. Otherwise you can press the ON/TARA button, if the display shows »0.0 kg«. The display can be reactivated by pressing the ON/TARA button on the back.
