Left, Center & Right Channels

Place the left & right speakers on either side of the video screen, anywhere from 6 feet to 10 feet apart and 38 – 42 inches from the floor.

If possible, locate the center speaker at the same height as the left & right channel speakers (38 – 42 inches from the floor).

If you must place the center speaker above or below a video screen, place it no more than 2 feet above or below the center of the left and right speakers. This will maintain consistent tonality between all 3 front channel speakers.

The main listening position should be between 8 and 12 feet away from the speakers.

Use Figure 1 as a guide.

One of the standout features of the VP65 TL is its 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer, which delivers rich, balanced bass while maintaining clarity in the midrange frequencies. The speaker also incorporates a 1-inch pivoting soft dome tweeter that ensures high-frequency sounds are maintained consistently, providing an immersive listening experience. The tweeter's pivoting design allows for optimal sound dispersion, enabling users to tailor the audio direction based on their room's layout.

The paintable grill further enhances this feature, offering customization options to match any interior decor.

Another notable characteristic is the InvisiPaint grill, which provides an aesthetically pleasing look while ensuring durability and acoustic transparency. This feature allows the speaker to virtually disappear into its surroundings, making it an ideal choice for installations where visual appeal is as important as sound quality.

The VP65 TL is designed for easy installation. Its adjustable mounting clamps provide a secure fit in various wall types, while the included cut-out template ensures accurate placement. The speaker is also compatible with both high-impedance and low-impedance systems, allowing flexibility for integration with existing audio setups.

In terms of performance, the VP65 TL boasts a power handling capability of up to 100 watts and an impedance of 8 ohms, making it suitable for a wide range of amplifiers. This speaker also features a frequency response spanning from 38 Hz to 20 kHz, capturing a broad spectrum of sound, from deep bass to crisp highs.

In summary, the Sonance VP65 TL is a sophisticated in-wall speaker that combines innovative technologies and design with superior audio quality.
