Choosing the power sources
You can use the mains or batteries as a power source.

1Connecting the mains lead
Insert one end of the supplied mains lead to the AC IN socket located at the rear of the player, and the other end to the mains.
Changing the MW tuning intervalIf you need to change the MW tuning interval, do the following:
1Press RADIO BAND•AUTO PRESET until “MW” is displayed.
2Press DISPLAY•ENT•MEMORY for 2 seconds.
3Press RADIO BAND•AUTO PRESET for 2 seconds.
“MW 9” or “MW 10” flashes.
4Press TUNE + or – to select “MW 9” for 9 kHz interval or “MW 10” for 10 kHz interval.
5Press DISPLAY•ENT•MEMORY.
After changing the tuning interval, you need to reset your preset MW radio stations.

2Preparing the remote
Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries (not supplied).
Replacing batteriesWith normal use, the batteries should last for about six months. When the remote no longer operates the player, replace all the batteries with new ones.
