Using as the NightShot camera
The NightShot function enables you to shoot a subject in a dark place. Use this function to record a clear picture without light.
This function may record picture nearly in monochrome.
Using the NightShot Light
When you set IR LIGHT to ON in the menu system, the picture will be more clear.
IR Light rays are infrared and are therefore invisible. The maximum range of IR Light is about 16 feet (about 5 meters) when SLOW SHTR (SHUTTER) is set to MANUAL. When you set SLOW SHTR to AUTO in the menu system, the range of IR light is extended.
Notes on the NightShot
•When you keep setting NIGHTSHOT to ON in normal recording, picture may be recorded in incorrect/unnatural color.
•If focusing is difficult with the autofocus mode when using the NightShot function, focus manually.
