Troubleshooting

Should any problem persist after you have checked these symptoms, consult your nearest Sony dealer.

Symptom	Cause and/or corrective actions
The volume does not	c	Set the AVLS switch to “NORM.” (page 16)

cReplace the batteries with new LR6 (size AA) alkaline batteries. (page 22)

The playing time is too short when powered with the rechargeable batteries.

cCharge and discharge the rechargeable batteries several times. (pages 19 - 21)

“Lobatt” or “000” appears in the display. The CD does not play.

cThe rechargeable batteries are used up completely. Charge the batteries. (page 19)

cReplace the batteries with new LR6 (size AA) alkaline batteries. (page 22)
