Selects the audio output status from the HDMI OUT jack.

[OFF]

The sound is not output from the

Outputs audio signals by

 

converting Dolby Digital, DTS, or

 

96 kHz/24 bit PCM signals to 48

 

kHz/ 16 bit PCM.

 

 

Note

When you connect the unit and TV with the HDMI cord and [ON] is selected, DYNAMIC BASS, MOVIE/MUSIC, and sound field are not applied to the sound that is output from the TV.

Displays the registration code for this system. For more information, go tohttp://www.divx.com on the Internet.

Settings for the Speakers

[SPEAKER SETUP]

To obtain the best possible surround sound, set connection of the speakers and their distance from your listening position. Then use the test tone to adjust the level and the balance of the speakers to the same level.

Select [SPEAKER SETUP] in the Setup Display. For details, see “Using the Setup Display” (page 75).

The default settings are underlined.

Note

You cannot operate these setup items when you connect headphones to the unit.

Select the item, then press CLEAR. Note that only the [CONNECTION] setting does not return to the default setting.

x[CONNECTION]

If you do not connect center or surround speakers, set the parameters for [CENTER] and [SURROUND]. Since the front speaker and subwoofer setting is fixed, you cannot change them.

[SURROUND] [YES]: Normally select this. [NONE]: Select this if no surround speaker is used.
