Set the [HDMI CONTROL] setting in [CUSTOM SETUP] to [ON] (page 79).

Make sure that the connected component is compatible with the HDMI CONTROL function.

Check that the AC power cord (mains lead) of the connected component is connected securely.

Check the connected component’s setting for the HDMI CONTROL function. See the operating instructions of the component.

If you change the HDMI connection, connect and disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), or have a power failure, set the [HDMI CONTROL] setting in [CUSTOM SETUP] to [OFF], then set the [HDMI CONTROL] setting in [CUSTOM SETUP] to [ON] (page 79).

No sound is output from the system and TV while using the System Audio Control function.

Set the [AUDIO (HDMI)] setting in [CUSTOM SETUP] to [ON] (page 80).

When displaying the version number on the TV screen

When you turn on the system, the version number [VER.X.XX] (X is a number) may appear on the TV screen. Although this is not a malfunction and for Sony service use only, normal system operation will not be possible. Turn off the system, and then turn on the system again to operate.
