Required cords

Video cord for connecting a TV monitor (supplied)

When connecting a cord, be sure to match the color-coded pins to
the appropriate jacks on the components.

Your TV monitor must also be connected via an S-video jack. S-
video signals are on a separate bus from the video signals and
will not be output through the video jacks.

Note
The VIDEO 1 AUDIO OUT L/R jacks output the same signal as
the front L/R speakers. When you select VIDEO 1 using the
FUNCTION button, the signal is output from the front L/R
speakers, but not from the VIDEO 1 VIDEO OUT and AUDIO
OUT L/R jacks.

Setups for the system

Some setups are necessary for the system depending on
the TV monitor to be connected.
If the color system of the TV is NTSC or DUAL
Since the color system of the system is set to NTSC, you
can use this system as it is.
If the color system of the TV is PAL
To set the system to PAL, turn on the system while
pressing the X button of the system. To reset to NTSC,
turn off the system and then turn on as described above.
