Depending on the specification of the digital still camera, the battery pack inserted in your camera may not be charged by this Car Battery Adaptor.

Warranty for Recorded ContentContents of the recording cannot be compensated if recording or playback is not made due to a malfunction of the battery pack, Car Battery Adaptor, etc.
We cannot provide compensation for image contentWe cannot provide compensation for recorded content such as images and sound, if images are not recorded or played back due to a malfunction in the Car Battery Adaptor, etc.
Charging•Do not use the Car Battery Adaptor to charge any batteries other than the special Sony rechargeable batteries for your digital still camera.
•Attach the Car Battery Adaptor firmly to your digital still camera.
•Depending on your digital still camera, the battery pack inserted in the digital still camera may not be charged with the Car Battery Adaptor. Refer to the operating instructions of your digital still camera for details of its functions and notes on use.
•Refer also to the operating instructions of your digital still camera for the battery insertion method, compatible connection cord check, and charging time. The charging time when using this product is the same as when using your digital still camera’s AC adaptor.
Charging temperatureThe temperature range for charging is 0 °C to +40 °C (+32 °F to +104 °F). However, to provide maximum battery efficiency, the recommended temperature range when charging is +10 °C to +30 °C (+50 °F to +86 °F).
Others•Use this Car Battery Adaptor only for cars which use a 12 or 24 volt battery.
•The plug may not suit depending on kind of car.
•There are cars which are negatively grounded and there are others which are positively grounded.
This Car Battery Adaptor is for negatively grounded cars only.•Use the product with leaving the car engine going. If you use the product with the car engine stopped, the car battery may become unusable.
•The negligible amount of electric current will flow into the Car Battery Adaptor as long as the Car Battery Adaptor is plugged into the cigarette lighter socket.
•The nameplate indicating operating voltage, power consumption, etc. is located on the bottom.
•Unplug the product from the cigarette lighter socket when not in use. To disconnect the product, pull it out by the plug. Never pull the cord itself.
•Do not operate the product with a damaged cord or if it has been dropped or damaged.
•When a problem occurs during use of this product, pull the plug from the cigarette lighter socket immediately to shut off the power supply.
•Be sure that nothing metallic comes into contact with the metal parts of the product. If it does, a short may occur and the product may be damaged.
•Always keep the metal contacts clean.
•Do not disassemble or convert the product.
•Do not apply mechanical shock or drop the product.
•It is normal for this product to get hot when in use.
•Keep the product away from AM receivers, because it will disturb AM reception.
•Do not place the product in a location where it is:
–Extremely hot or cold
–Dusty or dirty
–Very humid
–Strong electromagnetism or radiation
–Vibrating
•Placing this product in locations subject to the direct sunlight such as on dashboards or near heating apparatus may cause this product to deform or malfunction.
If any difficulty should arise, unplug the product and contact your nearest Sony dealer.
