SELF-TIMERWhen you set [SELF-TIMER] to [ON]

(), the self-timer starts recording in about 10 seconds after pressing PHOTO to record still images.

To cancel the count down, touch [RESET].To cancel [SELF-TIMER], touch [OFF].

zTips

•You can also set the self-timer with the PHOTO button of the Remote Commander (p. 93).

DIGITAL ZOOM

You can select the maximum zoom level in case you want to zoom to a level greater than 25 × (the default setting) while recording on a tape. Note that the image quality decreases when you are using the digital zoom.

The right side of the bar shows the digital zooming factor. The zooming zone appears when you select the zooming level.

Set [STEADYSHOT] to [OFF] () when using a tripod (optional) or the conversion lens (optional), then the image becomes natural.
