Inserttheprintcartridgeasitisintothecartridgecompartmentwithoutremovingthe ribbonprotector.Whentheprintcartridgeisinserted,theribbonprotectorcomesloose. Disposeoftheribbonprotectoraftertheprintcartridgeisinserted.

If the print cartridge is not inserted when the power is turned on ThePRINTCARTRIDGElampflashesslowly.ThePRINTCARTRIDGElampflashes fastwhenanerroroccursontheprintcartridgeorwhentheribbonhasrunout.
