Adjusting the picture(Y/C delay)
When playing back a source recorded from an analog VCR, the color of
the picture may shift right or left.
You can adjust this color shift by using the Y/C delay function.
The Y/C delay function works when playing back or viewing the input
from the DV connector.
1During playback or pause or
when the DV input is displayed,
press MENU.
2Press the CURSOR (>/.) buttons
to move the cursor () to Y/C
DELAY, then press EXECUTE.
3Press the CURSOR (?//) buttons
to correct the color shift of the
picture.
4Press EXECUTE to return to the
original screen.

Tips
The video signals are
composed of Y (luminance)
and C (chrominance) signals.
The Y/C delay function
adjusts the time lag between
Y and C signals.
You cannot record the
adjusted picture.
