32 Getting Started

If the picture is not clear

Normally, the Auto Fine Tuning (AFT) function automatically tunes in

channels clearly. If, however, the picture of a channel is not clear, you

may also use the manual tuning function.

1Display the TUNER PRESET menu.

For instructions, follow steps 1 and 2 in

“Presetting all receivable channels

automatically” on page 30.

2Select the channel you want to

fine-tune by pressing the number

buttons and then ENTER.

3Press the CURSOR (>/.) buttons

to move the cursor (❚) to FINE

TUNING.

The fine tuning meter appears.

4Press the CURSOR (?//) buttons

to get a clearer picture, then

press EXECUTE.

Note that the AFT setting switches to

OFF.
