Special notice

Do not move, lift up the system, or disconnect the AC power cord while it is operating. Especially, do not subject it to vibration or shock while the system is reading data. This may cause reading errors or malfunction of the CD-R/RW disc.

On installation

•Avoid placing the filing system in a location subject to:

–vibration

–high humidity

–excessive dust

–direct sunlight

–extremely high or low temperatures

On operation

•Operate the filing system on 120 V AC 60 Hz only.

•Do not move the system while it is operating as this may cause a malfunction.

•The filing system is designed to operate horizontally. Never attempt to operate the filing system in a tilted position.

•Do not place heavy objects on the filing system.

•If the filing system is brought directly from a cold location to warm location or placed in an extremely warm or humid room, moisture may condense inside the unit. In such cases the filing system will probably not work properly and may even develop a fault if you persist in using it. If moisture condensation occurs, turn off the power and do not use the filing system for at least one hour.

On cleaning

Clean the cabinet, panel and controls with a soft dry cloth, or a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of solvent, such as alcohol or benzine, which may damage the finish.
