1Press z on the control button when the mode dial is set to M.
The “Set” indicator at the lower left of the screen changes to “Return,” and the camera enters the manual exposure setup mode.

Shutter speed
When the zoom is set fully to the W side, you can select an aperture, F2.8 or F5.6. When the zoom is set fully to the T side, you can select an aperture, F5.2 or F10. You can select a shutter speed from 1/1000 to 30 seconds.
The difference between the settings and proper exposure judged by the camera appears as an EV value (page 30) on the screen. 0EV indicates the value judged as the most suitable by the camera.
