Using the Digital Channels Menu

To use the Digital Channels Menu, use the

Press v to highlight an option, then press .

Favorite	Applies to digital channels only. To set up analog channels, see page 22.
Channels	To set up digital channels in a Favorite Channels list:

1Use the --9, and buttons to enter the channel number that you want to assign to the Favorite Channel number. Press to select that channel as a Favorite Channel.

2To add more channels to your favorites list, repeat step 1.

3To clear a Favorite Channel, press V or v to highlight the channel you want to clear. Press and then press .

To use the digital Favorite Channels list, see page 16.

✍You can also add Favorite Channels directly to the Favorite Channels list, as described on page 16.

Digital	Applies to digital channels only.
Channels	Add Select to add digital channels.
Auto	Applies to digital channels only. To Auto Program analog channels, see page 22.
Program	Automatically sets up the channel list on the TV for all receivable channels.

	✍ Auto Program may take 50 minutes or more to complete. A progress bar will display the
	approximate progress of the Auto Program and Digital Channels/Add sequences.

Show/Hide Applies to digital channels only. To Show/Hide analog channels, see page 23.

Channels Allows you to show or hide channels that appear when you use the CH+/- buttons to channel surf. Channels that are set to Hidden do not appear on the Program Guide’s channel list, and are skipped when you use the CH+/- buttons.

1Press V or v to highlight the channel that you want to show or hide. To move between the Major and Digital subchannel lists, press B or b.

2To change a channel’s setting to Shown or Hidden, press .

3To show or hide more channels, repeat steps 1 and 2.

✍Channels that you set to Hidden can be accessed only with the --9buttons.

Label	Applies to digital channels only. To label analog channels, see page 23.
Channels	Allows you to assign labels (such as station call letters) to channel numbers.
	1	Press V or v to scroll through the channel numbers. Then press		to select the
		channel number that you want to assign a label.
	2	Press V or v to scroll through the label characters (A-Z, 0-9, etc.). Then press			to
	3	select the highlighted character.
	3	Repeat to add characters to the label.
	4	To assign labels to more channels, repeat steps 1-2.
	5	Press B to return to the Channel Setup menu, or press	to exit the menus.

Menus Digital
