5 HDMI IN 6

HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) provides an uncompressed, all-digital

HDMI/

audio/video interface between this TV and any HDMI-equipped audio/video equipment, such

as a set-top box, DVD player, and A/V receiver. HDMI supports enhanced, or high-definition

 

video, plus digital audio.

 

 

If the equipment has a DVI connector and not an HDMI connector, connect the DVI connector

 

to the HDMI IN (with HDMI-to-DVI cable or adapter) connector, and connect the audio jacks

 

to the AUDIO IN(L/R) jacks of HDMI IN. (DVI connector is for video signals only.)

Do not connect a PC to the TV’s HDMI input. Use the PC IN (RGB IN) input

 

instead when connecting a PC.

 

6VIDEO IN 1 Connects to the S VIDEO output jack of your VCR or other video equipment that has

S VIDEO. S VIDEO provides better picture quality than composite video (7).

7VIDEO IN 1/3 Connect to the composite video and audio output jacks on your A/V equipment such as a VCR

(PCM/DOLBY* compatible. (OPTICAL OUT is only available for digital channels.)

Component video (YPBPR) or HDMI connection is necessary to view 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i formats. Note that this TV displays all format types of picture in its native resolution of 1,366 dots × 768 lines.
