You can use the TV Remote Commander to control most of Sony remote-controlled video equipment: beta, 8￿mm and VHS VCRs and video disc players.

Tuning the Remote Commander to the equipment

1Set the VTR 1/2/3 MDP selector according to the equipment you want to control:

VTR1: Beta VCR

VTR2: 8￿mm VCR

VTR3: VHS VCR

MDP: Video disc player

2Use the buttons indicated in the illustration to operate the additional equipment.

If your video equipment is furnished with a COMMAND MODE selector, set this selector to the same position as the VTR 1/2/3 MDP selector on the TV Remote Commander.

If the equipment does not have a certain function, the corresponding button on the Remote Commander will not operate.
