Resuming Playback from the Point You Stopped a VIDEO CD (Resume Play)
The player memorizes the point you stopped a VIDEO CD and you can resume playback from that point. The player memorizes the point even when you turn off the player. You cannot start Resume Play if “RESUME” is not shown in the front panel display. Note that Resume Play is not available while playing an audio CD.

“RESUME” appears in the front panel display.
If “RESUME” doesn’t appear, Resume Play is not available.

The player starts playback from the point you stopped the VIDEO CD in Step 1.

Notes
•Depending on where you stopped the VIDEO CD, the player may resume playback from a different point.
•The point at which you stopped playing is cleared when:
–you press number buttons or PLAY MODE
–you remove the VIDEO CD from the player
–you unplug the AC power cord of the player
–you press DISC 1 - 5 (or DISC and number button of the disc (1 - 5) on the remote)
–you press DISC SKIP
–you set the MODE selector to NORMAL or 2 DISC
•If you play a CD audio track in a VIDEO CD with PBC function (see page 25) and resume playback, the background picture may change to blue. However, this is not a malfunction.
