Tips

•If you want to record from the reverse side, press TAPE B nto light its indicator after pressing CD SYNC.

•When you record on both sides, be sure to start from the front side. If you start from the reverse side, recording stops at the end of the reverse side.

•When you want to reduce the hiss noise in low-level high-frequency signals, do the following procedure after pressing CD SYNC.

1Press MODE SELECT repeatedly to select “Set Up Mode”, then press PUSH ENTER.

2Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly to select “TAPE Set Up ?”, then press PUSH ENTER.

3Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly to select “DOLBY NR Set Up ?”, then press

PUSH ENTER.

4Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly to select “On”, then press PUSH ENTER. “DOLBY NR” appears in the display.

To return to the original setting, repeat steps 1 through 4 and select “Off” in step 4.

Note

You cannot listen to other sources while recording.
