3Press and hold the shutter button halfway down. When the beep sounds and indicator changes from white to green, press the shutter button fully down.

The beep sounds. The image will be recorded in JPEG format in the disc. When “DATA SAVE” disappears, you can shoot the next image.

To cancel shooting

Release the shutter button.

About folders to save still images

If you insert a disc that does not have a folder for saving images, the screen to create a new folder appears after step 1.

If you select “Enter”, a “101_HIMD” folder is created in the “DCIM” folder. If you select “After shooting,” a “101-HIMD” folder is automatically created after shooting the ﬁrst image. Because of that, it takes longer to save the ﬁrst image.
