“EQ OFF”/No icon

Turns off the equalizer (Default setting).

 

 

“EQ Heavy”/

Emphasizes high and low ranges for a more powerful sound.

 

 

“EQ Rock”/

Emphasizes high and low ranges for a powerful sound.

 

 

“EQ Classical”/

Emphasizes high and low ranges, so that even soft sounds

 

can be heard easily.

 

 

“EQ Pop”/

Stresses the middle range audio, ideal for vocals.

 

 

“EQ Jazz”/

Emphasizes high and low ranges for a lively sound.

 

 

“EQ Custom”/

User-customizable sound settings.

 

When you press the /button to select “Edit,” and

 

then press the button, you can edit the sound setting. To

 

edit the sound setting, press the /button to select

 

the band (5 bands: 100 Hz to 10 kHz) and press the

 

button to confirm. Then press the /button to select

 

the sound level (7 levels: -3 to +3) and press the button

 

to confirm. Repeat this step to set the sound level of every

 

band.

 

If you return to the previous menu using the BACK/HOME

 

button after setting the sound level, the setting you have

 

changed will be canceled. Be sure to press the button to

 

confirm.

Be sure to connect the headphones to the player, or the player cannot receive any FM signal.

1 Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the HOME menu appears.

2 Press the /button to select (FM), and then press the button to confirm.

3 Check that “Manual” is selected, and then press the button to confirm.

The player enters the manual tuning mode.
