Note
If you connect the player to a computer while outputting to a television, the TV output
stops because the USB connection has precedence over the TV output.
Some televisions may suffer screen burn if you continue to display a still image on the
screen for a long time. Refer to the operation guide of your television, and if it is
vulnerable to screen burn, avoid displaying the same image on the television.
The [TV Output Size] setting ( p. 65) takes effect on video output but does not affect
music screen output.
Pixel length-to-width ratio differs between the player and television. As a result, the
height of the music screen on the television may be slightly stretched.
Depending on song, playback volume may be low compared to television broadcast
programs. If the volume is too low, turn up the television. Be sure to turn it down before
watching television programs.
Switching the television signal format [NTSC/PAL settings]

You can select the player’s video output signal. Select the signal format that is

appropriate to the television you intend to connect, if necessary.

From the Home menu, select [Settings] [Music Settings]

[NTSC/PAL settings] appropriate setting for the television.
