Using PC Cards 37

To remove a PC card

1Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2Double-click PC card.

3Click the name of your PC card from the list that displays.

4Click the Stop button, and then OK.

5Push the release button.

6Gently grasp the card and pull it out.

✍Follow the procedure below when you remove the PC card while your computer is on. Failure

to follow this procedure may result in a malfunction. When removing the card while your

computer is off, skip steps 1 through 4.
