When another device (PARTY host)

is having a PARTY, press PARTY.

The unit joins the PARTY as a PARTY guest
and the PARTY STREAMING indicator
lights up in amber.

To leave a PARTY

Press PARTY.
The PARTY STREAMING indicator goes off.
Notes
•An error has occurred when the PARTY
STREAMING indicator lights up in red. Perform
the process from step 1 again.
•The PARTY STREAM ING indicator lights up in
amber when other devices utilizing the PARTY
STREAMING function invite this unit to a
PARTY. When you want to leave that PARTY,
press PARTY.
•You cannot join a PA RTY in the following cases:
–you have a PARTY on this unit
–you have already joined in anot her PARTY
•If you press PARTY when no PARTY is being
held, but a device that complies with the PARTY
STREAMING function is playing, the device will
be the PARTY host and the unit will join the
PARTY as a PARTY guest.

To use the PARTY STREAMING

function with a Network Audio

Remote

You can use a Network Audio Remote that
supports the PARTY STREAMING function
to use the unit to start a PARTY that is being
held by other devices.
Updating software
When a new update is available, the UPDATE
indicator lights up in green while the unit is
connected to the Internet.
Check the following customer support website
about the update:

Notes
•Perform the follo wing operations after confir m the
message and also read and agree the “END-USER
LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR SONY
SOFTWARE” (page49).
•Make sure you do not attempt any of the following
operations while the update is in progress.
–Turning the unit off
–Connecting or disconnect ing the network (LAN)
cable (not supplied)
–Disconnecting the AC adaptor
•About connecting the fixed IP address and setti ng
of the proxy server, display the Setting Screen on a
browser and set these referring to “Option
3:Manual setting method using an Access Point
Scan (for PC/Mac)” (page 22).
1Quit all operations before

updating.

Tip
If you do not quit those, the unit will quit or
stop all operations automatically.
2Press and hold the UPDATE

button on the side of SA-NS410

or the bottom of SA-NS310 until

the illumination is turned off.

The update starts.
The UPDATE indicator flashes during
the update.
