Using PC Cards

Your computer has a card bus PC card slot that supports Type I or Type II PC (PCMCIA) cards. You do not need to shut down your computer when inserting a PC card.

To insert a PC card

1Slide front panel cover in the direction of arrow as shown, to open the front panel.

2Insert the PC card into the PC card slot until it clicks into position.

If the PC card does not insert easily, verify the card is not being inserted upside- down or backwards. Carefully reinsert the card into the slot, but do not force it in. See the instructions supplied with the PC card for details on proper use.
