Basic and Parts of Location
3INPUT MODE button
Press to select the input mode for your digital components (DVD, TV/LD, CD, and MD/DAT). Each press switches the input mode of the currently selected component.

5MUTING button
Press to mute the sound. The indicator above the button lights up when the sound is muted.
6BALANCE control
Rotate to adjust the balance of the front speakers.
7SLEEP button
Press to select the time after which the receiver turns off automatically (see page 43).

PHONES jack
Connects headphones.
•To use the headphones, set the SPEAKERS selector to OFF to output sound to the headphones.
