What should I do if I do not hear sound from my speakers?

If you are using a program that has its own volume control, make sure the volume control is properly set. See the program's help file for more information.

Make sure the speaker volume is turned up loud enough and the audio option is enabled.

The muting button on the remote commander may have been pressed. Press the button once again.

The volume may have been turned off with one of the volume control buttons on the remote commander. Press the other to turn up the volume loud enough to hear sound.

Check the Windows volume controls by clicking the volume icon on the taskbar.

What should I do if I do not hear 5.1ch audio from my speakers?

Follow these steps to check the speaker setup.

1Click Start and Control Panel.

2Click Hardware and Sound.3Click Manage audio devices under Sound.

4On the Playback tab, select Speakers and click Configure. The Speaker Setup window appears.

5Select 5.1 Surround under Audio channels and click Next.

6Select the check boxes for your speakers under Optional speakers and click Next.

7Select the check boxes under Full-range speakers and click Next.

8Click Finish.
