How can I create recovery media?

You can create recovery media using the VAIO Care. Th e media are used to restore your computer system to its factory

default settings. To create the media, launch the VAIO Care (page 31) and then click Recovery & restor e, Recovery, and

Create Recovery Media.

If your computer is not equipped with a built-in optical disc drive, you nee d to connect an external optical disc drive (not supplied).

How can I reinstall the original software and drivers?

You can restore the preinstalled software and drivers u sing the VAIO Care. To restore them, launch the VAIO Care (page
