Text messages

You need a service centre number from your network operator to be able to send text messages. Text messages can contain simple pictures, sound effects, animations, and melodies.

See Entering text on page 18 for instructions on how to enter text and numbers.

To view and set the service centre number

1From standby select Menu > Messaging > Settings

>Service centre.

2To change the number, select Clear. Enter the number including the international “+” prefix and country code.

3Select Save.

To write and send a text message

1From standby press .

2Write the message and select Options > Send message.

3 Select an option.

4 Select Continue > Send.

To save a message in drafts

•When you write the message, select Options > Save in Drafts.
