Text messages (SMS)

You must have a service centre number, which is supplied
by your service provider and saved on the SIM card. You
may have to enter the number yourself.
To set service centre number
1From standby select Menu > Messaging > Settings > Text
message > Service centre. The number is shown if it is
saved on the SIM card.
2If there is no number shown, enter the service centre
number, including the international “+” sign and country
code.
3Select Save.
To write and send a text message
1From standby select .
2Select Text message. Write the message and select Cont.
3Select a recipient through Enter phone no. or Contacts
look-up and select Send.
To view a received text message
1Text message received appears. Select Yes.
2Scroll to the unread message and select View.
