Troubleshooting
Some problems require that you call your service provider, but
you can correct most problems yourself. Remove the SIM card
before handing your phone in for repair.

Memory capacity and speed

If you have not restarted the phone for a while, you may
experience problems with its memory capacity and speed.
You can restart the phone to improve its capacity.
1Turn the phone off and remove the battery cover.
2Remove the phone battery and then put it back in place.
3Replace the battery cover and turn the phone on.

Master reset

If you experience problems with your phone such as screen
flickering or freezing and navigation problems you should reset
the phone.
From standby select Menu > Settings > the General tab
> Master reset > Reset settings and select an option.
Go to www.sonyericsson.com/support for more information.
Reset settings will reset all changes that you have made
in your phone to default.
Reset all will delete all user data as contacts, messages,
pictures and sounds in your phone.
