This document will help you configure your computer and your mobile phone to communicate over a Bluetooth connection, and step you through synchronizing your data.
These instructions assume that:
•You have already set up and configured your Microsoft Wireless Transceiver for Bluetooth on your computer.
•You have the

To configure your phone for Bluetooth connections
1Press Menu, press Connect, press Bluetooth, and then press Options.
2 Select Visibility, and then choose Show Phone.
3 (Optional:) Select Edit Phone Name, and then enter a custom name for the mobile phone. 4 Press Back to return to Bluetooth, and then select Turn On.
To add your mobile phone to Windows as a Bluetooth device
1On your computer, click Start, click Control Panel, click Printers and other Hardware, and then click Bluetooth Devices.
2On the Devices tab, click Add.
3Follow the instructions in the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard to install your mobile phone. When prompted, you will need to enter a passkey on your mobile phone to accept the connection from your computer.
4On the Finish screen of the wizard, make a note of the incoming COM port assigned to your phone’s Bluetooth connection. You will use this information to configure your phone synchronization software in the following procedure.
To install the Communications Suite and XTNDConnect PC

1On your computer, start the Communication Suite installation from the
2Follow the setup instructions to install the Communication Suite and XTNDConnect PC on your computer. Restart your system when prompted.
3After Windows has restarted, click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Phone Monitor Options.
4 Click the COM Ports tab.
5 Select the COM port that you wrote down earlier, and then select Enable. 6 Click OK to save your changes.
