To log in to your My friends server
}My friends } Myself } Log in.
Contacts You can create a list of contacts - people you want to send messages to on a regular basis. You can add contacts from your phonebook or from your My friends server.
To add a contact from the phonebook
1Messaging } My friends and press More.
2} Add contact } From Contacts.
3Enter the first letters of the contact, OK.
4Select a contact, OK.
5When you have selected a contact, you can choose to subscribe to status information for that contact. To subscribe, press Yes and follow the instructions that appear. Press No if you don’t want to subscribe.
To add a contact from a network server
1Messaging } My friends and press More.
2} Add contact } From server and follow the instructions that appear.
Status You can view the status of your contacts and choose to show your own status to others. You can also change your own status with the help of the following options:
•Picture – Select a picture from Pictures or take a picture with the camera. You can change, update and remove pictures at will.
•About me – Write a short text about yourself.
•Availability – State whether you are online.
•Mood – Select a mood from the list.
•Show my status – Select To all if you want to show full status to friends but limited to others, and Only to contacts if you want to show full status to friends but nothing to others.
•Username: – view your user id.
To view the status of a contact
1Messaging } My friends and select a contact.
2} More } View status.
To change your own status
1Messaging } My friends } Myself.
2Press Change and edit your status according to the options.
