To activate a secure connection to the WAP gateway using a WAP profile, you need to turn on security in your Internet profile per the instructions below. If your Internet profile is an HTTP profile, the connection will automatically be secure if the URL starts with https://. The icon indicates that a secure Internet connection has been established.

Security for a connection between a WAP gateway and a WAP service provider is the responsibility of the WAP service provider.
