Launching a Data Connection

䊳Press Menu > Web. (Your data connection starts and

the home page is displayed.)

The Data Services Home Page

While connecting, an animation and a “Connecting”

message may be displayed.

Net Guard

When you first connect to the Web, the Net Guard will

be displayed to confirm that you want to connect. This

feature helps you avoid accidental connections. You

can disable the Net Guard in the future by selecting

Always Auto-Connect when the Net Guard is displayed.

To change your Net Guard settings:

䊳Press Menu > Settings > More... > Data > Net Guard.

䡲Select On to activate the Net Guard.

䡲Select Off to deactivate the Net Guard.

Note If Net Guard is enabled and displayed (see page 101),

press OK (right softkey) to continue and launch

the Web.

Tip To change the default launch page to the last page

you viewed, press Menu (right softkey) > Mark this

page and select the Set this as my homepage, select

Save and press OK.

Note When enabled, the Net Guard appears only once as

long as you have not turned the phone off and on.
