Changing Your Phone’s Settings

You can customize many aspects of your phone’s functionality, from display and sounds to messaging and security, through the Settings menu. Below are just a few examples of how to navigate and use the Settings menu.

Changing the Greeting

You can choose the text that is displayed across the top of your screen.

1.From standby mode, press Menu (right softkey) and select Settings ().

2.Select Display.

3.Select Greeting.

4.Select one of the following:

Select Username to display your user name as the greeting.

Select Custom, enter the text you want as a greeting, then press OK (left softkey).

Changing the Animation

You can select an animation that runs when you power your phone on and off.

1.From standby mode, press Menu (right softkey) and select Settings ().

2.Select Display.

3.Select Animation.

4.Select the animation you want to use or select Off to turn off animation.
