Paper feeding
If thepapertray is not operatingor is notfeedingpapercorrectly,checkthe following.
Check
Are the leversset properly?
Is paperjammednear the printhead?
Are theleft and right paperguidestoo close together?
Is theretoo muchpaper in thepaperuay?
Was the paperfanned beforebeingfed by the papertray?
Hasthepaperbeen used beforeor is it creased?
Are you tryingto feed one lineusingthe front panelkey whilethe Ready lampis ON?
PossibleRemedy
Set thepapertray leverto therear position,and thepapel releaseleverto thelowerposition.
Stopprinting,removethejammedsheetand continue printing.
If theguidesare too closetogether,thepaperwill not feedsmoothly. Movethema littlefurtherapartto allow thepaperto feed freely.
The papertray holdsup to 30 sheetsof paperat a time. Makesurethat thereis no morethanthat in the tray.
If this is not done,paperjams mayoccur. Removethe stackof paperfromthepapertrayand fan it before
