and will not automatically reset. please note its possible for un - regulated wind generators/ solar cells or defective alternators to also trip this trip .
9 Under voltage warning, this is just a simple indication that the batteries are very low, this could simply be that the batteries were flat from start up and this will take a time to go off, or you could have exhausted the output of the charger and even if the charging is working at full power you are draining your batteries, in which case you need to increase the chargers ability ( amps ) , simplest way to do this is to add another one in parallel
10 This charger has progress power reduction as the unit get hotter, ie if the unit is in a abnormally hot environment not inside it parameters and cannot perform to its maximum, the unit will adjust the max output form itself to work withing the parameters it finds itself in.
ADVANCED 4 STEP DIGITAL BATTERY CHARGER
1Current l.e.d. indicator, this row of 10 l.e.d.s is set in a bar graph to give a approx visual display of how much of the chargers potential power is actually in use at the time of inspection.
8 Over voltage trip, in the unlikely event of the unit failing there is a possibility of the unit damaging your battery bank, this trip would intervene and prevent this, this is a fatal trip
however in extreme conditions it will simply switch off
11 This l.e.d. tell you 3 things, 1) L.E.D is green, then the temp sensor is fitted and all is working within parameters. 2) L.E.D. is red then the temp sensor has been subjected to a high temperature and the charger has tripped, this could be a battery problem, or even a lose electrical connection at the battery terminal. please check the temperaure at the sensor area and if the batteries are hot then replace the batteries. 3) No l.e.d. on , the temperature sensor has not been fitted or the cable has become defective and the charger cannot read the sensor. the charger will default to its 20 deg default temperature setting and continue to function
