Your TuneBase FM and iP od are in th e way of your ve hicle’s cont rols.
Solution
• Use the flexible go oseneck and th e articulatio n behind the do cking
cradle to position your TuneBase FM away from your vehicle’s
controls. Try to position t he gooseneck i n as close to an upright
position in relation to the adapter as po ssible (Fig. B).

the power outlet .
Solution 1
• Be s ure to solidly at tach your TuneBase FM’s cigarette ligh ter
adapter to the power outle t. Test the stabilit y by pushing it
sideways before drivin g.
Solution 2
• In s ome vehicles, t he power outlet i s wider than th e cigarette ligh ter
adapter. You may notice a wiggle in your TuneBase FM w hen you push
it. In that case, fit th e provided coll ar around your TuneB ase FM’s
cigarette lighter adapte r. Then, attach the cigarette lighte r adapter to
the power outlet. Slide the collar into t he power outlet, m aking sure
that all four protrusio ns securely fi t into the power ou tlet.
Solution 3
• Som e power outlets w ill not fit all four protrusions of the collar. In or der
to improve the fit of the cigarette lighte r adapter in the p ower outlet
of the vehicle, you can cut the collar to size. You can use sc issors to
carefully cut as many protrusions as y ou need. Cut the protrusions
from one side to the othe r, and try to fit y our TuneBase FM into t he
power outlet after eac h cut. (Fig. C ).
