Using Your TuneBase FM
Your TuneBase FM will automatic ally turn on wh en your iPod is c onnected and p ower is
available, and it will automatically tu rn off when yo ur iPod is remove d or if power
becomes unavailable.
Using ClearSca n to Find the Best FM Frequ ency (rec ommended )
Your TuneBase FM uses ClearS can technology to scan for the c learest FM freq uencies in
your area. If you hear a ny interferenc e:
1.
Press the “ClearScan” button. TuneBase FM will display the words “tune to” fo llowed
by a clear frequency. It will then star t transmitting on this new fre quency.
2.
Tune the stereo to the frequency on your TuneBase FM display.
3.
If you hea r interferenc e on the new freq uency,
just press the “Clear Scan” button aga in and
tune your stereo to the ne w frequency.
Note:
If you immediately pr ess the ClearS can
button when you turn o n your TuneBase FM,
it may take up to 30 seco nds for ClearS can to
locate the best freque ncy.
