Control Displays and Symbols

LCD Display		Display Meaning		What to Do
		Thermometer is running a built-in test.		Wait for memory display.
		Memory shows previous		Wait for ready display.
		temperature reading.
		Thermometer is ready to take		Insert ear thermometer into ear and press
		a reading.		“START” button.
		Measurement complete.		Read temperature.
		Low battery.		See instructions on page 7 for
				“Replacing the Battery”.
Error Messages

			Displays “H” when measured		Probe may not have been
	Measured temperature		temperature higher than		inserted properly. Take another

					Please check if the battery has
