NOTE: A short power-supply cord has been provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

Longer cords or extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance and the extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped over accidentally.

CAUTION

•This kettle is intended for boiling WATER ONLY. Do not use it to heat any other liquids.

•NEVER place the kettle NEAR HOT SURFACES.

•Always DISCONNECT the kettle from the power supply at the wall socket

•The “MIN” LEVEL MARK MUST BE COVERED.

•DO NOT EXCEED the “MAX” WATER LEVEL MARK when filling.

•DO NOT HOLD SWITCH ON for more than a few seconds as this may damage the automatic shut-off mechanism

•SWITCH the kettle OFF BEFORE MOVING or POURING.

•DO NOT IMMERSE the kettle IN WATER or any OTHER LIQUID.

•If the electric cord need replacement, ensure that a cord of the SAME ELECTRICAL TYPE AND RATING is used.
