OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE
PRIOR TO FIRST USE
It is recommended that you clean your new kettle thoroughly before using it for the first time. To do this, fill the kettle with fresh water and boil. Discard the water and repeat. Rinse the kettle with cold water. Follow the instructions as stated below.
1. Fill with the desired amount of water.
Note: Do not fill with less than the minimum level as indicated on the Kettle, or more than the maximum level as the water may spill over when boiling.
2.Plug cord into a power outlet.
3.Press the ON/OFF Switch downward, located at the back of the Kettle.
The water will start heating and the Kettle will switch off automatically once the water has boiled.
Note: Ensure that the ON/OFF switch is clear of obstructions. The Kettle will not turn off
if the ON/OFF switch is constrained. To detach the cord, remove plug from wall outlet then from appliance.

Should you accidentally allow the Kettle to operate without water, the boil dry mechanism will operate. If this should occur, allow the Kettle to cool before filling with cold water and

Mineral deposits in tap water may cause the water gauge and the inside of the Kettle to discolor after frequent use. To remove this
Empty the solution from the Kettle. Any stain remaining just inside the spout area can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
Fill the Kettle with clean water and bring to boil. Repeat and the Kettle will be ready to use.
Always disconnect the appliance from the power point before cleaning. Never immerse the Kettle in water or other liquids.
The outside of the Kettle can be wiped over with a damp cloth.
CAUTION: Never use any chemical, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the Kettle.
