Fold te st Before initial use:

1Remove product from vinyl storage bag/box.

2Pull controls from center fold of the warming product.

3Make sure the base unit cord is connected to the

blanket/mattress pad module then plug the power cord

into an outlet.

CAUTION:Do not continue the fold test for more than seven minutes. DO NOT attempt to make any internal adjustments to this appliance. If you have followed each step of the fold test and the

warming product does not heat, stop using it immediately, disconnect the power cord and contact Consumer Services at the 800 number listed under How to Obtain Warranty Service (page 11).

1Remove the battery compartment door from the back of the

remote control.

2Insert three AAA batteries, matching the +and -markings in

the battery compartment to the markings on the batteries.

3Replace the battery compartment door.

4If your blanket/mattress pad has two remote controls, repeat

steps 1 – 3 to install batteries in the second remote control.

(Three AAA batteries per control not included)

4Press “On/Off” button, then turn the control to the

highest setting and wait five to seven minutes.

5Put your hand between the folds and you should feel the

blanket/mattress pad warming. Note: Remember, the

warming product is not a heating pad. It will not feel

hot to the touch when laid out flat in a normal manner.
