SERVICE & ADJUSTMENTS
Deck Belt Routing & Replacement
9Disconnect spark plug wire
9Apply parking brake
9Lower the deck to its lowest position
9Remove the belt covers
9Disconnect tension idler
9Roll the belt over the top of the deck pulleys
9Remove belt
Removal
9Install new belt by placing it around
the deck pulleys. Refer to routing
diagram below.
9The belt will be loose at this time
9Tightly secure the belt tension back
to its original position
9Reinstall the belt covers
9Reconnect spark plug wire
