On the server, you need the following:

Solaris operating system

￿DBMS server database application

Compiler (if you plan to write any of your own code).

Verifying the Database Environment

New Era of Networks Adapter for Flat Files accesses a designated database through the integration engine where the integration server resides. Verify that you can connect to this database before installing the New Era of Networks Adapter for Flat Files software. For additional information about the integration server database environment, see the Installation Guide for the integration server.

Uninstalling Previous Releases

If you currently have a previous release of New Era of Networks Adapter for Flat Files installed, you may want to uninstall that version before installing the current release. Installation of the current release does not overwrite the previous installation and does not affect any files you may have added.
