•Insert a 9-volt battery into the battery box. See the Battery Box

•Plug the scanner's 9-pin connec tor at th e end o f the coil c ord into o ne
end of the battery box.
•An output cable from the battery box c onn ects th e LS 36 03 to th e
RS-232C input device. Connect one end of this cable to the battery box
and the other to the appropriate port on the host device.
